Wellness from within us… our bodies are constantly seeking homeostasis, a state of balance, and we can support it’s pursuit by our actions, thoughts and beliefs. Beginning in the healing arts with therapeutic massage in the mid-90’s, Kim continued her studies in Myofascial Release techniques with Tom Myers while living in Maine. With a goal to speak Italian, she then moved to Italy where she explored movement therapies that wove their way into her approach to therapeutic bodywork.
Upon returning to Delaware, Kim has continued to expand her massage techniques to include Trigger Point Therapy and Cranial Sacral Therapy from an Ortho-Bionomy perspective. Realizing the need for a more comprehensive approach to whole self wellness, she pursued certifications in Health Coaching, Yoga, Energy Work, Mindfulness and Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga. Ayurveda offers us an elementary understanding of imbalance and incredibly practical steps to return to balance.
With the knowledge she has gained thus far, in addition to her nursing degree, Kim offers a unique approach to her clients. She believes self care and self-awareness are important elements in our daily health practices and is inspired by each client’s pursuit of a greater state of whole self wellness.
