Bonnie Schuyler is a licensed massage therapist and a Reiki Master. She graduated from the Baron& Butler School of Massage in Rehoboth, DE. She is nationally Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB), and is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (AMBP).
Bonnie’s goal and passion is to provide stress relief, relaxation, and help eliminate discomfort going on in the body. Massage includes work on the mind, body and spirit. She trusts that if you give yourself the opportunity to relax and re-charge, both mentally, physically and spiritually, it is a wise investment in your health and well-being. Muscles have memory, so getting a massage on a regular basis is very beneficial.
Bonnie offers Swedish Massage, Bellanina Facelift Massage, Raindrop Therapy (using essential oils up the spine), Reflexology, and Reiki.
Bellanina Facelift Massage
Facelift massage involves a firming, lifting, contouring treatment that restores the skin’s radiance while it tones the muscles. Because massage penetrates the deepest layers of sensitive facial skin and the underlying muscles, it increases circulation and repairs the damage wrought by pollution, stress and sunlight exposure. The benefits aren’t all cosmetic: Facelift massage has a deeply relaxed and therapeutic effect that can counter some medical conditions. Since muscles have memory, the more stimulation you give to your face, the greater the results you will have.
Client’s say that they find the Bellanina Facelift Massage the greatest stress-reducing, relaxing and pampering treatment they’ve ever received. Something magical happens when your face is touched, which causes a shift in consciousness because of the energy.
Introduction to the technique-
Gary Young incorporated into Raindrop Therapy nine of the most potent therapeutic-grade essential oils. All of these oils have been heavily researched. They were selected to synergistically combine to simultaneously kill viral and bacterial pathogens, reduce inflammation, support the immune system, ease respiratory discomfort, relax stressed muscles, curb digestive upset and relieve body and joint discomfort, as well as balance energy, lift the spirit, restore calm and increase the ability to concentrate.
The seven single essential oils used include: Oregano, Thyme, Basil, Cypress, Wintergreen, Marjoram, Peppermint. In addition, two essential oil blends, Frankincense and Aroma Seiz are incorporated to further facilitate energy balancing.
The oils are dispensed like drops of rain from a height of about six inches above the back and feathered and massaged along the vertebrae and back muscles.
Although the entire technique takes approximately 45 minutes to complete, the oils continue to work in the body for up to one week following treatment, often with continued re-alignment taking place during this time.
In summary, Raindrop Therapy is one of the safest, noninvasive techniques available for spinal health. It is also an invaluable tool to promote healing from within using topically applied essential oils.
A non-invasive complementary modality involving the use of alternating pressure applied to the reflexes within the reflex maps of the body, located on the feet, hands and outer ears.
This bodywork involves application of pressure to these reflex zones to stimulate body organs and relieve areas of congestion.
Reflexology works with the body’s energy flow to stimulate self-healing and maintain balance in physical function. This technique is used to reduce pain, increase relaxation, and stimulate circulation of blood and lymphatic fluids. It is especially useful in stress-related illness and emotional disorders.
A Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also restores order to the body where vital energy becomes unbalanced. As a harmonic flow of energy is strengthened, within the client and practitioner, healing occurs through the return of physical, mental, and spiritual balance.
